This is, for me, an experiment in blogging (although not a particuarly daring one). I’ll use the blog to explore issues in cultural studies, queer theory, disability studies, contemporary culture, american literature, pedagogy, and academic labor and debates (along with other related and sometimes unrelated issues). Personally, my primary goal with this blog is a personal one: I’ll use it as a tool to write about my current and ongoing research, to work through ideas, to clarify my own thoughts by making them ostensibly public, even though the likelihood of them being read remains small–perhaps reassuringly so.
